Rare dealer's pricelist providing a fascinating insight into Hennig's stock in 1949. Having prospered in Germany during the Third Reich era, Hennig emigrated to the Dominican Republic after the War, taking with him a large stock of philatelic material (and perhaps even the tools needed to manufacture more!). Included in this pricelist are Berlin Airlift covers, Third Reich material, Rocket Posts, AM Post, Channel Islands Occupation, etc.

A first-rate handbook, similar in style to the Willcocks & Jay British County Catalogues, listing details of all the types of postal markings in use in Scotland before the introduction of adhesive postage stamps in 1840. Very well illustrated with illustrations of the standard types and of the Edinburgh and Glasgow types, and special types; and with maps showing locations of post towns, receiving houses, postal routes, etc. With a price-guide for each mark listed. Substantially larger than the first edition, this is the definitive handbook on the subject.
