A scarce set of this useful pocket guide to plating the Penny Black. Each card represents one horizontal row of stamps from each of the printing plates. The corner letters of the stamps appear along the top of the cards, and the information about each plate is given in horizontal rows beneath. This fairly comprehensive guide should enable the user to plate over 80% of Penny Blacks.
