Wingent, Peter - Extracts from the Air Ministry Civil Aviation Intelligence Reports Summaries
27 August 1939 to 30 May 1945

Publisher: West Africa Study Circle, 2010.
Large format (A4) paperback, comb-bound, vi + 215 pages, crease to front cover, slight corner-crease to rear cover and last few pages, in Good condition.
The Civil Aviation Summaries, published weekly by the Air Ministry, report the opening and closing of air services, route changes, aircraft employed by various companies, quantities of loads carried and details of accidents to aircraft. During the World War II period some 2000 pages of weekly summaries were published; to reprint these in their entirety was not practical and therefore many areas are omitted - most notably the internal services of Australia, Canada, USA and South America. Although most inter-continental air services have been included, those between USA and South America have not. A useful addition to the literature of Second World War air mail services.
