Very little has been written in English on the German propaganda forgeries of the Second World War, and what has been published is incomplete and out of date. This publication revises and completely updates all the known information on the subject. It describes in detail the history of the German forgery operation - Unternehmen Wasserwelle (Operation Waterwave) - located in the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp, and the parodies of the George V Silver Jubilee stamp, George VI Coronation stamp and George VI low value definitives, including overprints and commemorative sheets. Well illustrated in colour. A superb work - essential for all collectors of these "stamps".
