A detailed study of the postmarks of the Chilean city of Valparaiso. Valparaiso was unique amongst the important Post Offices of Chile in that it had to deal with a vast amount of Maritime Mail, and as a result it had a very close postal relationship with the Pacific Steam Navigation Company.
