Useful booklet looking at the mails to, from and within British Africa during World War II. The booklet details the air services provided by the four companies registered in British Africa, i.e. Elders Colonial Airways Ltd, Rhodesian & Nyasaland Airways Ltd (which was to become Southern Rhodesia Air Services), South African Airways and Wilson Airways Ltd who flew a network of routes providing support and feeder services to B.O.A.C.
It continues by listing the diverse range of services provided by foreign companies. Each country has a summary of the services available to it, with a final section devoted to notes on the postal history and special services available.
