Originally published by HMSO in 1945, these two volumes reprint the names (with locational and other details) of more than 41,000 Australian, Canadian, Indian, New Zealand, South African and other Military Prisoners of War held in Germany and German occupied territories, and more than 21,000 British, Australian, Canadian, New Zealand, South African and other Naval and Air Force POWs held in Germany and German occupied territories during the Second World War (British Army POWs are not included as they were listed in a third volume).
