Auction catalogue, two volumes, hardback, 150 pages + photo-plates, recent blue cloth binding in two volumes (catalogue and plates), original paper front covers pasted to fronts but switched so that Plates cover is on the catalogue and vice versa, slight spine-lean and bend to the covers, in Good condition.

Rare catalogue and plates of the magnificent collection of British Empire formed by Arthur Hind, including the spectacular Mauritius, British Guiana, Cape of Good Hope, etc. The sale was cancelled after the catalogue had been published, and the collection was later sold by Harmers of London.
